Partial List of Nazi Era Exiles in Hollywood

The following list of Austrian and German Jews (and others) forced into exile in Hollywood by the Nazi takeover in 1933 is only a partial list of the many European film people who played large and small roles in the history of American cinema. Some estimates place the number of Hitler exiles in Hollywood at around 800. Each person is identified by his/her primary occupation in italics.
