Rudolf Ulrich's newly expanded book on Austrians in Hollywood contains information on the hundreds of Austrian-born film people in all branches of the U.S. Film industry—from actors and directors to story editors and makeup artists. Few of the many Austrians who have worked in Hollywood since its earliest days are as famous as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Hedy Lamarr, Fritz Lang, or or Peter Lorre, but their artistic contributions are no less important.
